Roman Legionary Footsteps - 20 Miles - BBNP South to North

This walks starts at the Roman Camp at Coelbren, just a little to the West of Brecon and finishes 20 miles later at the Roman Camp at Brecon.

The route follows the old Roman Legionary Road of Sarn Helen.

This is a stunning walk that takes in not only Roman but Iron Age and Neolithic sites and of course passes through Andy's favourite area of the Brecon Beacons - Forest Fawr.

Only for competent walkers who can definitely manage a fifteen mile day without too much fuss and can dig deep for that extra five miles...

Mountain kit and boots and a packed lunch essential.
