Kalmhoutse Heide - 13.4 km

Dear beautiful people,
This is the last long walk I organize this semester and it's in a place that I have been wanting to go for a long time - Kalmthoutse Heide. I hope that the weather is on our side.
This is a long walk. Around 13.4 km, so be prepared. Moreover, this route is mostly natural paths so it can get muddy if it rains. We will adapt the route depending on the circumstances.

As always, a new route for me too, so we'll discover together.

It is a rather long walk, so please have water on you, comfortable shoes, some snacks and maybe something to sit on if we decide to take a break on the grass.

We'll start at the pinpointed location, the parking lot Kalmhoutse Heide - Parkeerplaats.

General information:

• We wait for 5 minutes after the starting time if no one has announced they will be late.
• If someone has informed us they will be late, we wait up to 15 minutes after the starting time.
• The location of the group is shared in the WhatsApp group for approximately 45-50 minutes after the starting time for those arriving more than 15 minutes late.
• To ensure everyone feels comfortable, and since some walking paths may not be dog-friendly, we kindly ask that you do not bring dogs or other pets.
• Walks may be canceled due to forecasted heavy rain or temperatures above 30°C or below 5°C. A final decision will be made by 10 AM on the day of the walk.
• There is a seasonal (one time payment valid throughout the year 2025) fee of 5 euros for the people that are not attending for the first time and have not already paid.
