Deep Woods & Open Water: A Sensory Forest Gathering
Details
Step out of the daily rush and step back into your senses. Join us for a slow, restorative two-hour gathering designed to help you shake off stress, awaken your curiosity, and reconnect—both with nature and with open-hearted people.
We will begin surrounded by the quiet shelter of dense forest canopy, grounding ourselves through simple breathing practices and sensory exercises that pull you directly into the present moment. From there, we’ll wander the lakeside paths at a unhurried pace, sharing light conversation and noticing the small wonders along the trail.
Together by the shore, we’ll pause for a cozy tea circle—enjoying warm, locally sourced herbal tea while taking in the water views.
What to Expect
- The Pace: Gentle and accessible (1.5 to 2 miles total with frequent stops). No hiking experience required.
- The Vibe: Warm, welcoming, and grounded. Come as you are—whether you're looking for peaceful reflection or friendly community.
- What’s Provided: Warm thermos-brewed tea for our lakeside circle.
What to Bring
- A favorite mug for tea
- Comfortable walking shoes or trail sneakers
- Layers to adjust to the forest shade and open lake breeze
- A sit-pad or small towel for resting on the shoreline
