Bike Queensbury to Lake George

On Saturday, October 11th, ESCV will host a 15 mile round trip recreational bike ride to Little Falls. The ride will start and end at the Queensbury bike trail parking lot to Lake George. This is a pretty ride but does have some short hills as it follows an old trolley right of way. The trail is paved with short sections on public roads. Once we arrive at Lake George, we will walk along the walkway around the south end of the lake. There are porta johns at the start point parking lot and in Lake George. Helmets are required and a $4 fee. Bikes should be in good repair and tires inflated properly. We will not ride in the rain or threat of rain and/or lightning. The POC is Tad Darling at 518-275-6220, but Joe Zoskey will be hosting this ride. Please be alerted that the start point is a bit of a ride from the Schenectady area so allow for driving time. Registration is from 8:30 to 8:35, and the ride will start at 9:00. Should we have to cancel, that will be posted at about 7:00 pm the evening before if possible. This will be our final ride for the 2025 season.”
