ART & SOUL: Mandala Drawing

MANDALA DRAWING WORKSHOP

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon that begins with a centering meditation and prayer. We connect with each other as we enjoy sharing with the talking stick in sacred circle. Most of our time is in silence and we may choose to move to a table outdoors to do our art work.

As we explore the materials and patterns offered and learn about the ancient art and soul of drawing mandalas with support and guidance every step of the way. You can learn exactly how to construct a mandala from the very beginning to the finished pattern, and create a work of beauty by finishing with watercolor, colored pencils, gel pens, collage or a combination!
OR... you may choose to select one of the mandala patterns that Karen has already drawn and spend your time coloring it. It is a peaceful experience as the stress of the world floats away, we become heart-centered once again, in joy.
