What we’re about
Flaneuring is the art of aimlessly and leisurely strolling through city streets, or any surroundings, with the intention of observing and experiencing the environment, often for pleasure, to gain insight, and to connect with the inner world of the person doing the walking. The term refers to an intentional, mindful wandering that is not about reaching a destination but about enjoying the journey.
All that, combined with language exchange.
Hi ladies, we're taking a walk around KL to see what's happening on Independence Day, basically to kepoh lah. You're welcome to join us. Wear good walking shoes/sandals, bring water bottle, umbrella, sun block and curiosity. The picture is the path we might walk, but will 100% change if something looks interesting along the way. We're free and easy that way.
We will end at either a Monorail, LRT or MRT train station.
Optional: You're also invited to join me for the 3pm Fragments of Tuah theatre at KLPac, we will take a train there. The tickets can be purchased here: https://www.cloudjoi.com/shows/fragments-of-tuah
Our walking route will have snack, toilet and prayer breaks (for those continuing the journey to the theatre).
