Holiday Walk Beacon Hill, Public Garden & Esplanade

Walk up and down the backstreets of Beacon Hill; Through the Common and Public Garden; Back along the River at the Esplanade. We'll start and end from the entrance to the Government Center subway at City Hall Plaza. Total distance should be less than 4 miles.

Street Parking is generally free on Holidays and Sundays (check any posted restrictions). Check out New Chardon, Bowdoin or Cambridge Streets Parking Meters | MassGIS Data Hub . Garage at Saltonstall building (30 Somerset St.) is $14 on weekends. Also, the Green and Blue lines come through this location; Orange at State; Red at Park.

Group rules:

• You must be signed up to attend the event.
• Only sign up for events if you intend to show up.
• Wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothes for the weather.
• Bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
• You assume all risks when participating. Group leaders are volunteers and are not liable for any harm or injury to you or others.
• We will take off about 10 minutes past the starting time.
• If you sign up for an event but will not be attending, please change your response.
• Check Meetup for cancelations and changes in meeting times and locations before each event.
