Short Hike mid-day Friday

Another Fall-like day predicted for Friday. Get out for a short hike - less than 2 miles Northeast of Spot Pond. Paths will be at a leisurely pace; easy to moderate terrain depending upon group abilities. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended.
Meet at the Greenwood Park/Playground across the street from Stone Zoo.
Remember the rules:

• You are adults and are expected to make decisions about your own safety and physical abilities.
• Wear appropriate footwear and bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and bug spray (if warm & humid).
• Move to the side for oncoming walkers on narrow trails.
• If you decide to return to your car early or leave the group for any other reason, tell someone.
• If you are struggling or need assistance, tell someone.
• Be friendly. Be social. Have fun.
