Dun Laoghaire History Walking Tour - Walk, Learn and Make Friends!

Join us on a history-focused walking tour of Dun Laoghaire and Sandycove! My name is Marina Boyle and I'm a 26-year-old local tour guide. I have been giving tours to visitors for years, but I am excited to now be operating tours through MeetUp! Whether you are local, new to the area, or wanting to learn and make friends at the same time, this tour is for you!

We'll start at Dun Laoghaire DART station and visit landmarks like the East Pier, Dun Laoghaire Baths, the People's Park, the Forty Foot, and the James Joyce Tower and Museum. All the way along I'll be explaining the local history, with time for guests to chat to each other and make connections as well. Come and see what makes the coast of Dublin so captivating!

This is a free event which will last approximately 2.5 hours. If you enjoy the tour and are able to give a donation of €5 per person, this helps to cover organisational fees. The tour will include entry into the James Joyce Museum, including access to the roof for 360 degree views of Dublin. Bring a raincoat or sunblock depending on the forecast - or possibly both!
