Killiney Hill History Tour - Guided Walk and Time to Chat!

Join us on a history-focused walking tour of Killiney Hill Park!

My name is Marina Boyle and I'm a 26-year-old local tour guide. I'm excited to lead a tour of Killiney Hill for the first time ever! Curious about the obelisk, the quarry, or why the story of Daedalus and Icarus has enchanted visitors to the park for years? Whether you are local, new to the area, or wanting to learn and make friends at the same time, this tour is for you!

We'll start at the car park in Killiney Hill, which is accessible via Dalkey DART station, car, or the 59 bus. Together we'll visit all the highlights of the park, where I'll explaining the local history and leave time for guests to chat and make connections as well. Afterwards there'll be time for a coffee in the park's tea rooms if you would like to join.

This is a free event which will last approximately 2 hours. If you enjoy the tour and are able to give a donation of €5 per person, this helps to cover organisational fees. Please bring a raincoat or sunblock depending on the forecast - or possibly both! I am looking forward to meeting you :)
