Walk the Wissahickon -Weekdays @ Forbidden Drive

September 23 Walk
Meet at the opposite end of Forbidden Drive and walk toward Valley Green Inn.

Starting point: the SEPTA Wissahickon bus transfer station on Ridge Avenue. (Not the Wissahickon Train Station).

We will meet across Ridge Avenue, next to the bus stop. This is where Forbidden Drive Ends.

Same starting point. Still a 4 mile walk. Still flat.

Parking: use the shopping center on Ridge Avenue with the movies, bike store, etc. Near the Pencoyd Bridge. This is a 3 block walk to the Transit Station.

Usual Walk:

Meet at corner of Northwestern Ave and Thomas Road to walk the Wissahickon (aka Forbidden Drive).

This is a flat 4 mile walk from Northwestern Ave to Valley Green.

Meet at the Thomas Road sign post.

GPS Users: 120 W Northwestern Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118
Then walk away from Germantown Ave until you hit the intersection with Thomas and Andorra Roads.
