Join us for a gentle walk in this wonderful historic garden with beautiful views of Duddingston Loch.

It’s a relaxed, friendly outing, followed by a cosy pub stop at the oldest pub in Scotland! Everyone is welcome.

We’ll meet at 1pm alongside the main entrance of Dr Neil’s Garden. We’ll wait around 5 minutes for everyone to arrive, then set off on an easy stroll through the gardens. Please arrive 5-10 minutes in advance. The pace will be gentle and perfect for enjoying the surroundings.

After the walk, we’ll head to the Sheep Heid Inn for a relaxed chat.

Everyone buys their own food and drink

️ If the weather is very poor, we may need to cancel the walk. I’ll confirm on the day and let everyone know

Contribution: please bring £3 in cash on the day to support the running costs and upkeep of the group, thank you so much

IMPORTANT:
I’ve booked a table for 10 for lunch at The Sheep Heid Inn after our walk. If you’d like to stay for lunch, please let me know so I can confirm numbers.

A few people are planning to join just for drinks. The bar area can’t be reserved, so those seats will be available on a first come, first served basis on the day.

And of course, it’s absolutely fine if you’d prefer to come along for the walk only. Just drop me a message to let me know your plans.
