Join us for a gentle walk through one of Edinburgh’s most beautiful and historic neighbourhoods.

We will meet at Jubilee Gardens, where the well-known Stockbridge Market is usually held, before setting off on a relaxed stroll through the area. Along the way we will explore some of Stockbridge’s most charming streets, known for their striking Georgian and Victorian architecture and distinctive Edinburgh character.

From there we will walk down along the Water of Leith, following the peaceful riverside path towards Dean Village. We will spend a little time wandering around this picturesque historic village, one of the most photographed spots in Edinburgh.

After the walk, if there are seats available, we may stop at Cairngorm Coffee for tea, coffee and a chat.

You’re very welcome to join us just for the walk, or only for the cafe afterwards if you prefer a shorter outing.

We will meet at 2pm in the square. Please arrive 5 – 10 minutes early. We will wait around 5 minutes for everyone before starting the walk. The pace will be gentle and suitable for anyone who would simply like to enjoy the surroundings and good company.

Everyone buys their own food and drink.
If the weather is very poor, we may need to cancel the walk. I will let everyone know on the day.

Contribution: please bring £3 in cash on the day to support the running costs and upkeep of the group. Thank you very much.
