Sunday Walk & Cafe: Water of Leith and Dean Village walk

Join us for a gentle walk. We will meet next to the red police box on the corner of Dean Terrace and Deanhaugh Street at 11am, before setting off on a relaxed stroll along the Water of Leith, following the peaceful riverside path towards Dean Village. We will spend a little time wandering around this picturesque historic village, one of the most photographed spots in Edinburgh.

After the walk we will go to Cafe Modern One, for coffee and a chat.

You’re very welcome to join us just for the walk, or only for the cafe afterwards if you prefer a shorter outing.

We will wait around 5 minutes for everyone before starting the walk. The pace will be gentle and suitable for anyone who would simply like to enjoy the surroundings and good company.
