Stroke Awareness Continues with Special Guest Dr. Brad Mikaelian

May is Stroke Awareness Month and we've partnered with UC Health Memorial's cardiovascular/neurology departments for this month. We have had some great guest speakers and even one of only 20 Mobile Stroke Treatment Units in the country show up last week. It's equipped with a CT scanner and telemedicine with a live stroke neurologist, as well as paramedics and a critical care nurse for treatment of stroke (when indicated) at the scene saving millions of brain cells. After the short talk by our guest Dr. we walk, all at their own pace and all can ask questions with the Doc. Bring friends and family...who knows who's life you will save!!
