🗓 DATE: Sunday, 2 November 2025.
⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.15am.
🚊MEETING PLACE: North Sydney station - on top of the stairs, Blue St entry/exit - Busses Stands A-F (apposite Greenwood Plaza).
🚆 END POINT: Wynyard, Martin Place or Circular Quay that suits you.
🚶‍♂️DISTANCE: 7.5km - point to point on a relaxing pace, mostly fairly easy paths with few stair climbs.

📸 Ahhh..! Nothing says warm weather in Sydney like the full bloom purple jacaranda trees when the streets become filled with beautiful purple flowers gently falling on the footpaths like purple rain... it's just absolutely stunning! 🌸 🌸

🗓 Every year from October to November, a tide of purple petals washes over Sydney as the jacaranda season comes into bloom. 🌸

🚶‍♂️Upon arrival at North Sydney station, we’ll begin our exciting walk towards Lavender Bay for our first photo session.
🚶🏼‍♀️We will continue our exciting walk to Wendy’s Secret Garden for another photo stop and selfies admiring the flowers and harbour views. 🌸🌼
☕️We will then walk towards Milsons Point station via Luna Park for a quick break. There are toilets and few cafes at the station.
🚶‍♂️We will continue towards jacaranda tree ‘tunnel’ in Kirribilli where trees had formed a dreamlike canopy. 🌸🌸
🤳 Please be mindful, stay on the footpath and beware of oncoming traffic! There will be lots of people taking photos and selfies in this area.
📸 After photo session and selfies, we will then walk across the Harbour Bridge towards The Rocks and Circular Quay admiring the harbour from the bridge, against the backdrop of the Sydney Harbour, the view is just breathtaking!
🥪 We will have 30 minutes byo lunch break at Circular Quay.
🍔 Meeting and gathering point - in front of Hungry Jacks, opposite Wharf 4.
🪴After lunch, we’ll head towards Royal Botanic Garden for another photo session.
🌸 We’ll have a quick photo stop at the duck pond overlooking the beautiful gardens.
🚶‍♂️We’ll continue to our last photo stop at The Calyx, home to one of the largest green walls in the southern hemisphere, The Calyx is a unique, show-stopping venue in the heart of Sydney.

🚊 You may leave home at anytime either from Circular Quay, Wynyard or Martin Place stations.

👕 Comfortable outfit and good grip walking shoes.
💦 At least 1.2L of water (refills available) and Hydralyte,
🥪 Snacks and packed lunch.
🧢 Hat, sunscreen and hand sanitiser.
⛑️ Basic First Aid kit.
🧥 Light raincoat or a poncho just in case of wet weather.
