Quay-Gardens-Woolloomooloo-Double-Bay-Rose-Bay-Easy-Walk! 12km!
Spectacular Sydney Harbour Walk - Just in the nick of time, found some secret alleyways to slightly change the course of this unique walk. Really! Don't miss this, we sometimes need the exercise, yes you agree! 12km is just perfect.
Let's hit the streets, walk past the Opera House, through Botanical Gardens to Woolloomooloo. Quick stop at Harry's Cafe de Wheels then up to Potts Point, down to Elizabeth Bay to Rushcutters Bay Park, then go past the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.
We slide past Sir David Martin Reserve, get to Yarranabbe Park, then walk along Darling Point Road, down the Marathon Steps to Steyne Park at Double Bay Ferry Wharf.
Double Bay beach walking, only short, then to Sculpture Garden (overgrown) Rehydrate Stop, next Foster Park, then Murray Rose Pool Loop (300 metres) at Seven Shillings Beach for some fun! Don't laugh! Yes some variety for you.
After that, let's keep plodding along towards Rose Bay Park & Bellamy Beach, then a quick sneak through the Boathouse Rose Bay. Steady walking along the promenade to Lyle Park at Rose Bay Ferry, then going to Rose Bay Beach!
Yippee end of walk so we can lunch at the Pub or cafe before walking to the Rose Bay Ferry to take us back to Circular Quay. Bus is also available.
