🗓 DATE: Saturday, 23 May 2026.
⏰ MEETING TIME: 9.55am.
🚊 MEETING POINT: Berowra station - at the entry/exit after tap on/off.
🚻 Toilets located at Platform 1.
☕️ Cafes and shops opposite the station.
🚆 END POINT: Mt. Kuring-gai station.

🥾 DISTANCE: 12.5km - point to point.
🥾 GRADE: mostly Moderate/slightly HARD paths with 345 metres elevation gain on a steady pace, not snail pace!

❗️This walk is NOT for beginners, whingers or those without proper hiking boots or good grip walking shoes with few technical paths on a steep and slippery descents.

💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven rocky surfaces, ups and downs hills, steep climbs, creek crossings, rocks hopping and rocks scrambling at few sections.
💪🏽 Tracks expected to be wet, muddy and slippery in parts.

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚶‍♂️Let’s explore beautiful bushland in Berowra Valley National Park along Lyrebird Gully and Berowra Creek forms parts of Great North Walk. Tracks are mostly under the shade.
🚶From Berowra station, we will walk on a local roads and steep metal stairs down the valley to our first photo stop at Naa Badu Lookout.
🚶‍♂️ We will then continue our exciting adventure with a steep descent on GNW along Berowra Creek.
🥪 We will have 30 minute lunch break on the creek enjoying the serenity in the bushland and wild birds.
🚶‍♂️After lunch, it’s fairly easy paths on the boardwalk along the creek and salt mash area.
🧗🏻‍♂️ What goes down must come up! After enjoying the nature and few photo stops along the creek, we will head back up with a steep ascent to Mt Kuring-gai station.

✅ You must take personal accountability for your own choices, actions and/or misadventure. If you’re not sticking with the group or getting lost during the walk, you’re responsible for finding your own way out. The group DO NOT wait for you!
✅ You must also take care not to put other people at risk.
✅ Keep well back from cliff edges at all times, especially when taking photos.
✅ If you do not wish to be photographed (randomly or group photos), please DO NOT join this event. Easy!
❎ NO facilities or cafes on the trails, so please come well prepared.
❎ NO smoking or vaping of any kind on the walk including during photo stops and lunch break.
❎ NO pets including service dogs are permitted on my events. You may join pet friendly walking group instead.
✅ Please be mindful and respectful to members and guest/s from diverse background. This is not a dating event.
✅ If something’s come up, please Edit your RSVP to ‘Not Going’ asap at least by 7pm the day before. It’s only take a second!
❎ Late cancellation or No Show would not be tolerated. You will forfeit the opportunity to join my future events!

🎒WHAT TO BRING 🎒
👕 Comfortable outfit for the weather preferably hiking gear. Jeans or cotton t-shirt may not be suitable for this walk.
🥾 Waterproof hiking boots or good grip walking shoes highly recommended.
💦 At least 1.8L of WATER, Hydralyte or sports energy drinks.
🥪 Snacks and packed LUNCH.
🧢 Hat, sunscreen, insect repellent ie: Bushman or Aerogard etc.
⛑ Basic First Aid kit ie. BandAids, bandages, antibacterial wipes, pain reliever and hand sanitiser.
🧥 Light raincoat or a poncho just in case of wet weather.

$10 CASH per person for this event to be collected at the start of the walk.
