Bay Farm Island Walk in Alameda

We'll meet in the Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center in the parking lot near Safeway, and walk to the Shoreline Park path with beautiful views of the Alameda shoreline and San Francisco. After about 2 miles or so, we'll turn into one of the canal paths that run through the center of Bay Farm Island.

As with any walk along the Bay, plan on cooler weather (or not). The walk along the Shorline Park will be breezier than the walk through the center of the island.

We'll meet for coffee after the walk at Starbucks across the street from the shopping center. Bring money with you on the walk if you don't want to go back to your car to get it after the walk.

PARKING: Free parking.

WALKING CONDITIONS: Flat and level paved walkways. The walk should take about 1.5 to 2.0 hours.
