Saggart Hill Loop (Easy) Daytrip

We will be Meeting at Tara Street Train Station at 11:00 AM, AT THE MAIN ENTARANCE.

We will be going to Poolpeg Street and getting the 65 Bus (Bus Stop Number 7564)
Scheduled at 11:30 this Bus goes to Ballymore, we are getting off Brittas Grange (Bus Stop Number 4006), We should arrive at 12:42 estimated time (1 Hour 10 Minutes).

Then we will be walking for 20 Minutes (1.5 KM)
To Saggart Hill Loop.

This Loop is 3.9 KM (1 Hour to 1 Hour 30 Minutes).

This route is located western of the Dublin Mountains and offers great views of Wicklow and Dublin.

This a short loop around Saggart Hill starting from Lynch Park Road.

Is a small place to park cars but can’t be guaranteed.

This a very old place dating to 3500-3000 BC with two Monuments at the Top of the Mountain. Some other Monuments date to the Bronze Age/ Iron Age dating back to 2400 BC to 400 AD

Dogs are welcome but on leads please.

Please bring your leap card or cash for the Bus, also please bring snacks, water and warm clothing.

We should be finished and back for the Bus RETURNING TO DUBLIN AT Brittas Grange for 15:57 PM and back in Dublin for 17:11 PM estimated time. Or you can get off at Saggart Luas Stop.
