At 12:35 PM, we will leave the Meeting Point and walk to the Platform where the Scheduled 12:50 PM Commuter Service Train to Portlaoise.

• Train : Commuter Train to Portlaoise.
• Scheduled : 12:50 PM from Hueston.
• Duration : 1 Hour & 12 Minutes (11 Stops).
• Arrival : Portlaoise Train Station, 14:02 PM (Estimated Time).

For those who want to meet us at the Train Station, MEET OUTISIDE THE MAIN ENTRANCE.

When we have reached Portlaoise Train Station at 14:02 PM (Estimated), we will begin our trail.

Coffee Shops Nearby : The Wandering Elk & Gingerbread on the Main Street of Portlaoise.

Trail Overview :

• Distance : 8-9 Kilometres.
• Elevation : 165 Metres.
• Difficulty : Easy.

This is a forestry trail, there will be mixes of gravel roads & forest tracks in Dysart Woods.

There is a lot of wildlife in Dysart Woods such as badgers, foxes, rabbits and squirrels wandering around the woods,and listen out for birds singing across the forest.

Dogs are welcome on leads.

When we finish the looped trail and walked back to Portlaoise Train Station, trains are frequent going to Portlaoise Train Station to Dublin Hueston (Around 30-45 minutes).

Every event is 5 Euro’s, you can pay by using Revolut or Cash on the Day.
