Day Trip To Ely

Lace-up your boots and join the Walking Friends for an exciting adventure day trip to the picturesque city of Ely, where you can spend the day at your leisure or join me for a six-mile walk around this historic cathedral city.

Meet at Costa Coffee from 0845 onwards for the departure of our train from Nottingham station at 0920 we arrive in Ely around 11 am with our train departing back home at 1749.

Upon arrival in Ely, you can spend the day at your own leisure or join me for a six-mile walk followed by around 1 to 1 and a half hours of free time after the walk for shopping or a meal and drink at a local pub.

Frequent public transport to Nottingham railway station and the station car park is £5 for all-day parking.

Return train travel will cost £28. You can pay me on the day, or you can make arrangements to purchase tickets.

Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome on the walk.
