A slightly longer walk whilst we still have some longer evenings There is some up and down on this lovely scenic walk through Shining Cliff woods, a place of special scientific interest, then crossing open pasture, past Alderwadsley school and through Kennel Wood before descending through fields to finish off on Cromford canal. There may be cows in some fields with calves and sheep in others. Free parking on Holly Lane (what three words combines.nightfall.expiring) or if no spaces can park at Ambergate Station close by for a small fee.
