Linby/Newstead/Papplewick - 5.5 mile circular walk

The walk will start at the Horse & Groom pub, Linby NG15 8AE. We can park in the space at the front, but not in the pub car park at the back. Alternative parking can be found across the road on Church Lane

The walk will take us along the old railway line, through the Newstead Estate and around the back of the Abbey to come out in Papplewick. We will then cut through a field on a footpath to get us back to Linby.

Easy walking, mostly on tarmac - just one field at the end which might be muddy - there is a potential alternative route which will had on half a mile.
