Wilford Hills-Sharphill woods - Ruddington 4 mile walk with far reaching views

Join me on a walk from Wilford hill up the cinder path and across the fields with far reaching views of Nottingham city before making our way through Sharphill Woods (this is one of the rare occasions we will be able to actually go through the woods without it being waterlogged) we then make our way down and through the tunnel under the A52 towards Ruddington before making our way back up and over fields to the starting point.
It may be muddy in places so appropriate footwear required.
Not a particularly long walk but very scenic on a nice evening. Dogs welcome.
Free car park in front of the Cemetery on Loughborough road and if travelling by public transport the NCT no 8&9 go past the meeting point.
