David Price's 70th birthday do at the Boat Club

OK, not a walk, more of a dance, so still keeping fit! It's my 70th birthday on 10th September and this is a kind of celebration (!) shared with an old friend who's 70 the same month and the date for this is about halfway between our birthdays. Live music will be provided by the wonderful Super Injunction, who play a variety of hits from over the decades, including by Blondie, Amy Winehouse, the Killers, Martha and the Muffins, Buggles, Stevie Wonder, ABBA, the Four Seasons and even Oasis. We're also lucky to have playing two members of long-established Nottingham band Gaffa. If you don't know the venue - the Boat Club - it's by the Trent near Trent Bridge (just before you get to the Forest ground). Nostalgia for me because I went there many times in my youth. If I remember rightly, you have to go up steps to get to the bar and dance floor (more exercise!). Loads of buses go over Trent Bridge.
