Five-mile walk by Bestwood Lakes and around **THIS COMING SATURDAY MORNING**.

Late notice walk on Saturday 1 November. I was waiting for a better weather forecast and it looks to be a sunny day now! I've also been ill and feeling a lot better now. We'll start at Moor Bridge tram stop - parking available on Hucknall Lane and Bestwood Road. Best not to park in the tram stop car park because it's for tram users only. Apart from the tram, another public transport option is the Threes bus every ten minutes from Victoria Centre bus station which goes straight up Mansfield Road and then Hucknall Road and stops at Aston Drive opposite the tram stop. We'll walk by the picturesque Bestwood Lakes and then skirt Bestwood Village to cross open countryside into woods and beyond to Goosedale Road. Then we'll return along an old railway line to Bestwood Lakes and back to the start. Fairly flat most of the way but some fairly minor hills.
