*THIS FRIDAY* Five-mile walk in and around Bestwood Country Park

The weather forecast is good for Friday, so come and join me for this attractive walk by Bestwood Lakes (plenty of bird life to be seen), across fields and through woodland to the Country Park and then back to the start. We'll meet at Moor Bridge tram stop. Walk should take about 2 hours, perhaps a little more. (No café en route.) Trams run every few minutes from the centre of Nottingham, and the Threes bus also stops nearby with services every 10 minutes from Victoria bus station. If you're on the bus, ask for Aston Drive stop. Car park for tram users only, but you could use other park and ride sites (e.g Bulwell or Hucknall) and take a tram from there.
