Eight Mile Ambergate & The Heage's Circular walk

Join us for an eight-mile circular walk from Ambergate to some of the wilderness of Derbyshire with a visit to Heage, Boothgate, Westbanks Nether Heage, Ridgeway and some spectacular views of Heage Windmill.

Refreshment and comfort break at The Spanker public house about the six-mile mark around 3 pm.

Car parking at Ambergate Station is £1.50 for all-day parking.

For public transport, the train departs from Nottingham at 1020 and the return train hourly back from Ambergate. Return train travel £11.70. Meet outside Costa Coffee from 0945 am.
