Newcastle Mini Break

Come join us for a mini-break to Newcastle with the option to do as little or as many of the planned events as you like.

Newcastle Central Travelodge is an excellent place to stay at an affordable price in a central location.

Plenty of nearby car parking and excellent public transport options from Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Most of us are staying at Newcastle Central Travelodge.

Sunday evening five mile walk around Newcastle setting off from the Travelodge at around 4.30pm and walking around the quayside, City Center sights and the seven bridges over the River Tyne with evening meal afterwards.

Monday is a trip to Sunderland departing from Newcastle Station at 1026 arriving at the Stadium of Light around 1100 then an eight mile walk along the coast before returning to Newcastle from Chichester Station.

Tuesday will be an eight mile walk from Newcastle to The Angel of the North leaving the Travelodge around 1030 and catching a bus back from the Angel of the North to Newcastle around 1530 arriving back at Newcastle for around 1600.

All walks will meet first at the Travelodge before setting off or at Newcastle station.
