Bank Holiday Monday walk in Bestwood Country Park and around

Last-minute walk to take advantage of nice weather on a bank holiday Monday! 5- to 6-mile walk beginning along the old railway line to Bestwood Lakes and into the Country Park for the café (closes 12.30). Then across farmland into the woods to Goosedale Lane, across Moor Road and back to the Lakes along another old railway line. Frequent trams to Moor Bridge tram stop and buses too: the Threes from Victoria bus station. Car parking on roads near the tram stop, including on Bestwood Road across Moor Bridge.
