Cropwell Bishop, Cropwell Butler, Grantham Canal walk 5 miles approx

Fairly undemanding walk through Cropwell Bishop and Cropwell Butler and then over open countryside eventually turning along the old Fosse Way and back to Cropwell Bishop along the remains of the Grantham Canal. Hopefully we'll be able to drop by the Creamery and purchase some of the famous Stilton cheese (optional!). This walk shouldn't take much longer than a couple of hours. Meet outside the Wheatsheaf pub opposite the Co-op. There are buses to Cropwell Bishop No.12 from the centre of town and the railway ststion. If you're coming on the bus, please let me know - should be one that gets in just before 11 (if I've read the timetable correctly). Plenty of parking in the village.
