Details

Wikipedia:
"Gotska Sandön (literally translated as 'The Gotlandic Sand Island') is an uninhabited Swedish island [9 km long and 6 km wide] north of Gotland in the Baltic Sea. It has been a national park since 1909.
...
The island consists mostly of sand and is dominated by beaches, dunes and especially pine forests. Aside from a colony of grey seals, the higher fauna is not very rich."

Let's spend four days and three nights on this beautiful island in the middle of the Baltic Sea.

"On Gotska Sandön there is a varied range of accommodations from cabins to tents. You can bring your own tent and pitch it in the camping ground, and there are tents for rental with a bed, pillow and quilt."

Spakur and I have already booked and paid for the ferry return ticket (and a cottage for two) departing from Nynäshamn Thursday 19/6 at 7.45 and returning to Nynäshamn Sunday 22/6 at 20.00. Nynäshamn is about an hour from Stockholm City by commuter train/pendeltåg. Spakur has been there twice, I none.

Book your stay and ferry:
https://www.sverigesnationalparker.se/en/choose-park---list/gotska-sandon-national-park/visitor-information/getting-here/

Starting point:
Stockholm City platform 4 "Nynäshamn" at 5.55. The commuter train/pendeltåg leaves at 6.06.

Ending point:
Same as starting point.
