I checked this circular 5.85 mile walk out on 27th March in lovely sunshine and it was absolutely glorious. The scenery was superb and the peace and quiet was magnificent. It is however, an undulating walk with 2 climbs and a steep descent so not everyone will enjoy that part, but if you want a fantastic walk, try not to miss this one.

The car park gets busy so try and turn up early to take the place of the many dog walkers who use this car park. If you can offer a lift to someone or don't mind sharing a car, put your proposal forward as it may help keep the car park usable.
