HORSES GALORE EXPLORING CHOBHAM COMMON, LANGSHOT BOG AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS

Last minute invite to an event that has been on my main site for a couple of weeks and 7 are going to date.

A lovely walk through some picturesque countryside and farmland and very different from the previous Chobham walk done very recently.

We make our way to the common in about 15 minutes and then spend an hour or so on the common passing Langshot Bog and through quiet woodlands and heather with some nice views of the common.. It is then back through farmland and countryside with lots of horses on view which makes it such a lovely 2 to 2.5 hour walk. It is generally flat but there are half a dozen stiles. Shorts should be OK on this walk.

If you want free parking, you will need to park on Chertsey Road, just around the corner from the Cannon car park, where there is likely to be loads of space. The car parking is large, is free for an hour but £2 for longer on a Sunday, and popular so please arrive a little early in case it is full should you not mind paying. Meet by the entrance to the car park.
