CLAREMONT LAKE, ESHER WOODS AND WEST END WITH A BEAUTIFUL RIVER IN BETWEEN

The walk starts from the car park by the bridge that crosses the A3 and is a short distance from the Fairmile Pub. The postcode to use is KT11 1BG.

An added bonus today as I lead a familiar walk to some of you but we can walk around Claremont Lake free of charge instead of a £14 entrance fee. It is lovely there.

This is a good the best time of the year to do this 5 mile walk before it
gets too muddy as we pass along one of the prettiest parts of the River Mole.

It is mainly flat but we do drop down to the river with 30 odd steps and climb up again.

Black Pond and Middle Pond and lovely woodlands will also be visited and I hope some of you will join me on a very enjoyable walk. You are welcome to bring up to 2 guests as well.
