How Should Christians Live as Prophecy Unfolds?

The Bible has many prophetic details about the last days prior to Christ's return, when Satan is allowed greater influence on mankind and wickedness increases.

The prophecy given to Daniel says in the last days "many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." (Dan 12:4). Jesus warns of religious deception, wars, famines, and pestilence (Mat 24), with many more details provided in Daniel, Revelations and other prophetic books.

How should Christians prepare for the difficult times to come?

Should Christians isolate themselves from others in society or seek to be salt and light among others in society?

Should Christians seek higher education in secular institutions? Should they seek positions of influence in politics, business, or the media?

Will God provide greater power through His spirit to Christians to strengthen them in the end times, to provide a witness to the lost, and to reveal the hearts of man? Will God's intervention become more visible?
