How Should Christians Live as Prophecy Unfolds?

Details
The Bible has many prophetic details about the last days prior to Christ's return, when Satan is allowed greater influence on mankind and wickedness increases.
The prophecy given to Daniel says in the last days "many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." (Dan 12:4). Jesus warns of religious deception, wars, famines, and pestilence (Mat 24), with many more details provided in Daniel, Revelations and other prophetic books.
How should Christians prepare for the difficult times to come?
How should Christians interact with non-Christians?
Should Christians isolate themselves from others in society or seek to be salt and light among others in society?
Should Christians seek higher education in secular institutions? Should they seek positions of influence in politics, business, or the media?
Should they seek to be involved in good causes that are led by non-Christians, or that serve the needs of people who are suffering from sinful choices, or that focus on improving health or the environment?
Will God provide greater power through His spirit to Christians to strengthen them in the end times, to provide a witness to the lost, and to reveal the hearts of man? Will God's intervention become more visible?
We look forward to your thoughts and understanding of God's word and what it reveals for us as we seek to understand the role of Christians in our modern world and how we should live if we see prophetic signs occurring in our lifetimes. We encourage everyone to join us for an insightful and inspiring Bible-based conversation on this topic.
