What we’re about
I’m a guy who moved to Barcelona a few months ago and I’ve been looking for an alternative to the usual language-exchange groups. I want to create a group focused entirely on speaking Spanish, helping each other and learning together.
Unlike traditional meetups, we’ll be walking around the city so we can describe what’s happening around us in real time—outside the usual noisy, crowded indoor venues. Being outdoors will give us many more things to talk about, allowing us to go beyond the typical “How are you?” or “What do you do?”.
We’ll stop at a café to get to know each other, ask questions, visit a few shops, and practice our speaking skills while expanding our vocabulary.
A minimum level of A2–B1 is required so that everyone can actively participate in the conversation. Each of us knows different expressions, words, and everyday situations in Spanish—by speaking together,
we can help one another become more fluent without feeling embarrassed, and learn new vocabulary from each other.
VERY IMPORTANT: There won’t be native Spanish tutors; we’ll support each other as a group
