Veterans Day Hoover Dam Scenic Hike

I usually post the Hoover Dam scenic hike to commemorate Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Please note that the start area is across the street from the bypass bridge parking area. From the parking area we’ll proceed to view the Hoover Dam from the Pat Tillman pedestrian walkway, then walk the Railroad Tunnels and backtrack to the Hoover Dam for our main break, before returning to the start. The distance is about 6.5mi and is mostly flat, though there’s some stairs at the bypass bridge and at the Hoover Dam. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the pedestrian walkway at the bypass bridge or on the Hoover Dam. I’ll email the status of the hike and the weather forecast to attendees the day prior.
