PJ 5K & 1-Mile Walk thru Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

What my wife (Penny) and I enjoy is signing up for the 1mi walk but then walking the 5K race course. Also, there’s usually free admission for active duty military and veterans to drive the glittering lights display on day 1 of the event. It’s also no problemo if people prefer to walk solo, with their family/friends or with us as a group, but it’d be nice to take a group photo before the start to possibly use as the “featured photo” of Walking Las Vegas. I’m posting this event early in there’s a discounted price of $25 for early registration, which later increases to $35, though I couldn’t find the date of the price increase. Also, bring cash for same day registration where credit cards weren’t accepted in the past.

• Awards will be presented to Best Overall Female and Best Overall Male!

• Also receive a coupon for $5 off Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway! Drive through that night or come back with family and friends!
• Local mascots will be there for photos.
