Here, we do the opposite. We walk slowly together in silence, practicing walking meditation — a simple yet powerful way to release stress and start the week with calm.
🪷 I first learned this practice on retreat at Plum Village, a meditation centre in the tradition of Zen master Thích Nhất Hạnh. I was astonished by how powerful it feels when people simply walk together in mindfulness.
I tried it alone in Amsterdam, and it’s hard because everyone rushes around. But in a group, we create a bubble of mindfulness. It feels surprisingly refreshing to walk slowly on a Monday morning when the whole city is already busy and stressed.
