A walk around northeastern Staten Island

Details
We’re going to take a walk around northeastern Staten Island, from the Staten Island St. George Ferry Terminal through Tompkinsville, Stapleton, Clifton, and Fort Wadsworth. This walk will be ~6.5 miles at a very fast pace (4+ MPH), stopping a few times to briefly read aloud from a guide book. Organizers will bring copies and we’ll all take turns reading.
Start: 11am, Saturday, April 19, Staten Island St. George Ferry Terminal, by the Information Booth; we will only wait 5 minutes for any latecomers, so please arrive on time
End: ~1pm, Bay St. and Townsend Ave, by Clifton station, Staten Island Railway (if you are heading to Manhattan, SIR or S51 bus take ~10 mins to Ferry, or walk 2 miles)
For those interested after the walk, we may get food (pay your own way; bring cash if you want to try splitting).
Please RSVP the night before the walk if you will attend. We will reschedule to avoid any rain.
Please see “What we’re about” (group’s About tab) for more details.
