A walk around Norwood, Kingsbridge Heights, Fordham, and Belmont (the Bronx)

Details
We’re going to take a walk around northwestern Bronx, from Norwood through Kingsbridge Heights, Fordham, and Belmont. This walk will be ~4 miles at a fast pace (~3.5+ MPH), stopping every few blocks to briefly read aloud from a guide book. Organizers will bring copies and we’ll all take turns reading.
(Note: this walk was rescheduled due to rain on May 17)
Start: 10:30am, Sunday, June 22 outside the main entrance of the Williamsbridge Oval Recreation Center (2 blocks from D train, 205th/Norwood); we will only wait 5 minutes for any latecomers, so please arrive on time;
End: ~12:30pm, Arthur Ave and E. 183rd St (from there you can walk or bus to the D or 2 train, or consider visiting nearby Bronx Zoo or NY Botanical Garden)
For those interested after the walk, we may get food (pay your own way; bring cash if you want to try splitting).
Please only RSVP if you plan to attend, and promptly change your status when your plans change. We will reschedule to avoid any rain.
Please see “What we’re about” (group’s About tab) for more details.
