A walk around Marine Park, Gerritsen Beach, and Mill Basin (Brooklyn)

We’re going to take a walk around Marine Park, Gerritsen Beach, and Mill Basin (Brooklyn). This walk will be ~5.5 miles at a fast pace, stopping every few blocks to briefly read aloud from a guide book. Organizers will bring copies and we’ll all take turns reading.

Start: 10:30am, Sunday, September 28th, outside the Beach Deli at 2876 Gerritsen Ave (served by B31 bus); we will only wait 5 minutes for any latecomers, so please arrive on time. There is a park across from the deli where you may find a public restroom before the walk.

End: ~12:30pm, Flatbush Ave and Avenue U (served by several buses).

Please only RSVP if you plan to attend, and promptly change your status when your plans change. We will reschedule to avoid rain.
