A walk around Queens Village (Queens)

We’re going to take a walk around Queens Village (Queens). This walk will be ~3 miles at a brisk pace, stopping every few blocks to briefly read aloud from a guide book. Organizers will bring copies and we’ll all take turns reading.

Start: 2:45pm, Saturday, October 11th, right outside the LIRR Queens Village station, which is on Amboy Lane, near Jamaica Ave and 219th St. This is accessible by LIRR, or F/E/J to end of line in Jamaica then bus. We will only wait 5 minutes for any latecomers, so please arrive on time. There probably won’t be any restroom opportunities during the walk, so please plan ahead - there may be options by the LIRR station (e.g., Dunkin or Popeye’s), or restaurants in either direction on Jamaica Ave (Haitian, Caribbean, Portuguese).

End: ~4:15pm, LIRR Queens Village station.
