A walk around Jamaica (Queens)

We’re going to take a walk around Jamaica, Jamaica Hills, and Jamaica Estates (Queens). This walk will be ~5.5 miles at a brisk pace, stopping every few blocks to briefly read aloud from a guide book.

Start: 11am, Sunday, November 23nd, outside Punto Rojo Bakery Queens (147-16 Hillside Ave, between Sutphin Blvd and 148th St), near F subway (Sutphin Blvd). We will only wait 5 minutes, so please arrive on time. There probably won’t be any restroom opportunities during the walk, so please plan ahead. After the first ~3 miles of central Jamaica, there will be a dropout point option by the F (169th St). After that, we enter bus country.

End: ~1pm, Union Turnpike & 174th St (bus Q45, QM5, or QM6 to subways)
