A walk around Manhattan Beach and Sheepshead Bay

We’re going to take a walk around Manhattan Beach and Sheepshead Bay (Brooklyn). This walk will be ~5.5 miles at a brisk pace, stopping every few blocks to briefly read aloud from a guide book.

Start: 10:00am, Saturday, June 20th, outside of Loqma Cafe (1509 Voorhies Ave, which is near the Q, Sheepshead Bay station). We will only wait 5 minutes, so please arrive on time. There probably won’t be any restroom opportunities during the walk, so please plan ahead.

End: ~12pm, Brighton Beach Q train station (Brighton Beach Ave. and Brighton 7th St.). Note: the Coney Island Mermaid Parade starts at 1pm, about 1.5 miles from the end point of this walk.
