A walk around Gravesend (Brooklyn)

We’re going to take a walk around Gravesend (Brooklyn). This walk will be a total of ~5 miles at a brisk pace. The first ~3 miles will be around Gravesend, stopping every few blocks to briefly read aloud from a guide book (ending by the F, Kings Highway station, for those who want to drop out). The last ~2 miles will be a no-book walk north to Midwood (Q, Avenue J station).

Start: 10:00am, Saturday, October 3rd, outside of Highway Bagels (1923 Kings Highway, near Ocean Ave), which is a few blocks from the Q, Kings Hwy station. We will only wait 5 minutes, so please arrive on time. There probably won’t be any restroom opportunities during the walk, so please plan ahead.

End: ~12pm, Q, Avenue J train station (Avenue J and E. 16th St).
