Quilt Walk

Enjoy a 5K or 10K walk in Cascade Locks. These walks can be done on your own or group lead. There will not be any arrows or ribbons on either route, but instructions will be available if you choose to walk on your own. There will be a scheduled group walk for both routes starting at 10:30am. If you would like to join either of the Group Walks, be there before 10:30am, so they can start promptly at 10:30am. Walkers are advised if they bring a dog with them to be sure they are on a leash.

Directions to the start table:
Corner of Wa Na Pa St and School Road will be the start location area, using the parking lot or on street parking. Take I-84 East to Exit 44 and follow Wa Na Pa St to the start location. I-84 West to Exit 44 and continue as above.

Walk to and through Marine Park, passing the Visitor Center and the Sacajawea statue, to and on Thunder Island. Back through Marine Park and into the town of Cascade Locks passing some buildings with quilt murals on them. (Walk Club Members: The Airport Challenge is available on the 10k route only.
The 5K is rated 1A, easy and the 10K is rated 2A moderate.
