Welcome to Nature Minded Walking, Seeing Sights, Tapas &Lunch*ing Club ๐๐ซ
We will go socializing through walking, Seeing of interesting sites and taking tapas in different places around the island during the week!
I have for many years run the Explorers Club Gran Canaria and I am still doing that ๐
However I have the need for also doing something abit less challenging! ๐
So therefore this new Social Club centered around the Nature and to go and explore and learn about our island in a less demanding way! But we will keep all the fun socializing and meeting of new people!

1. Introduction:
So as mentioned above We will go socializing through walking, Seeing of interesting and taking tapas in different places around the island!
We will min go 5 people and max 9 people, not too few to not have a group feeling and not too many as to not all being able to meet :-)
We are not a hiking group or sports group!
Meaning the purpose is not Hiking or fitness so our events are not to be aproched with that mindset! ๐
We will however be trotting/walking/ hiking around but that only to see and visit interesting locations that has natural, environmental or cultural importance. While also teaching us about the history or other info about the land!
I am Erik a Danish Architect running a Nature & Land Restoration Project here on GC! ๐ซ๐
So I will share with you, through casual conversation, the knowledge that I have gathered about the places we visit and its nature & enviromental history!
And you will share with us what you know or have on your mind!๐ซ๐
Our events are about having a good time, while learning and socializing about the island in general and possibly making new friends! ๐๐ซ
I make these events to help support the Nature and farmland restoration project that I run! ๐๐๐ซ๐
So with your kindness! Participation tribute for our events are 10 Euro!
We will mainly go by public bus or share cars, as one likes, depending on the locations possibilities! ๐๐ซ๐
On our Natute and Farmland Restoration Project we research and test how to the fastest regrow the now desertified nature and create some fantastic fun farming products in the process! ๐ซ๐๐

If the forecasted weather for our destination goes bad, we always try to find a new destination with a better forcasted weather if possible ๐
2. Description of the expedition:
Differes every week! ๐๐ซ๐
Bring snacks and min 1,5 l of water! Good shoes, a windbreaker, pullover (in case of Sutton weather change).
After the trotting/walking/ hiking / Seeing of Sights part of the events we will go for more chatting, wine and tapas at a local restaurant that we find at the location!
3. Facts and conditions for joining us:
As weather here, as you know, can be very hot you need be fit and have good health and not suffer from issues that can prove problematic being out at these conditions!
As we are from all over the world we will use English as common foreign language so you must be able to communicate well in english!
You have to have your real name and a resent easily recognizable profile photo of yourself on this meetup so that we all can see who is who! ๐๐

Important these social club meetups are a private grouping of new and coming friends that go out walking and seeing sites together!
This means that it is in any legal sense just like you being out with your friends or by yourself!
You are at your own risk at all times!
This Meetup is for Private people meeting each other on a friends basis!
Together we are more than 3100 members here on our Meetup group and 1000 members on our Facebook group!
We have already been on more than 360 Expeditions though our other Club!
